BONNEVILLE ENGINE

This latest innovative incarnation of Triumph's Bonneville 1200 engine is a liquid-cooled, 8-valve, 270° crank angle parallel twin, with such a responsive performance that it offers up to 10% more torque at 4,500rpm than even the Bonneville T120.  In addition, the Speedmaster is packed with technological trickery including ride-by-wire, two riding modes ('road' and 'rain'), single button cruise control, latest generation ABS with switchable traction control, torque assist clutch, and immobiliser.

You'll also find high performance features from nose to tail; the Brembo front brakes and Nissin rear brake (both with ABS) inspire total control, while hidden rear suspension provides a more self-assured swagger with a more comfortable ride.

That's not all; Triumph's impeccable authentic heritage means that each motorcycle is infused with the kind of style, indulgence, and attention to detail that comes from decades of really understanding what makes a perfect ride.  So with the new Speedmaster you don't have 'just' a fuel tank, you have a 12-litre capacity sculpted Bonneville tank. You don't merely have a headlight, you have a full DRL* LED headlight with classic 'nacelle' detailing.  And you don't have just an exhaust, you have a twin skin chrome exhaust system with signature Bonneville hidden routing into a cat box.

But don't think that hi-tech means minimal comfort.  With a seat height of 710mm this is an exceptional low rider and superior handling whether you elect to travel alone or with passenger, while the swept back beach bars and forward pegs encourage you naturally into a pleasing cruiser-style riding position.
